Within the framework of the Action Plan of the Presidency for 2022, GAFILAT implements an ongoing training strategy aimed at the public and private sectors. In this regard, it is pleased to announce the opening of the GAFILAT CAMPUS to the general public.
After the success of the general opening of the “Course on the 40 FATF Recommendations and Introduction to the Assessment Methodology,” starting today and until Friday, March 4, registration for the “Course on Virtual Assets (VA) and Virtual Assets Service Provides (VASP)” will be open.
The course is offered free of charge and participants will have access to the content in both Spanish and English between March 14 and April 13. The username and password to access the CAMPUS will be sent between the end of the registration period and March 13.
All GAFILAT CAMPUS e-learning courses are self-guided and asynchronous. They can be taken in stages, independently from each other, and at any time of the day.
The “Course on Virtual Assets (VA) and Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASP)” is aimed at different stakeholders from GAFILAT member countries, the FATF Global Network and the general public.

Module 3 - Regulatory environment for virtual assets
Module 4 - ML/TF red flags associated with virtual assets
The dissemination of tools such as this virtual learning platform is yet another effort to protect the financial integrity of Latin America.
